I seemed to get to the point of almost pure pleasurable relief , and then it stopped. It was the worst kind of teasing, because this kind didn’t promise any kind of an over-the-moon release. It had been my goal to not get up for a cigarette during the meal, mostly because I didn’t imagine I could get myself to go back in. But at this point, it was necessary. I had a light buzz going after three mimosas, my stomach was full of some of the best food, and I was more sexually frustrated than I had been in…years.
“I’m sorry , but you all with have to excuse me. I really need to step out for a minute. Where can I smoke here?” I blurted out.
From the pursued lips and killer glare coming from Polly, I was sure I had just interrupted a story she was telling. Truthfully, I saved them all. I highly doubted whatever she was saying was that interesting anyway.
“There’s a designated area for smokers, but I don’t smoke so I wouldn’t know where it is.” Her eyes fanned back over me, her nose scrunched up as if a sudden rank waft of something was assaulting her senses.
“Well, that’s no problem.” I turned to Kayne with a sickly sweet smile on my face. “If you are almost ready I could just go wait for you by your car. I don’t mind waiting a bit if you want time to say goodbye.”
“Oh yeah, I am just about done. If you want to go ahead and take my keys. That way you’re not standing out in the hot sun.”
The eye-popping look on his mother’s face almost made me laugh out loud. The second I walked away from this table she was going to make sure Kayne knew to never offer me his keys again. I mean obviously my first thought was to head out to the parking lot to heist his ginormous fucking SUV. Like that would happen.
“That’s okay, I like being outside.” I said to Kayne with a smile. “It was a pleasure meeting you all.” Joel reached out and shook my hand without hesitation, giving a sincere goodbye. Polly and Kate looked like they were being swarmed by bears , and any sudden movement could end their lives. They didn’t dare offer me their hands, but it didn’t matter, I stuck mine directly in their face. If they wanted to turn me down they would have to do it in front of all the people they felt the need to impress.
Reluctantly , they both brushed their hand against mine in their lame attempt at a handshake. I stood, grabbed my bag, and gave Kayne a pat on the shoulders.
“Take your time. I’ll be waiting by the car whenever you are done.”
    “Alright.”
Just as I turned to walk away the unmistakably low velvet accent of Onyx stopped me.
“Wait a moment, Andie. I’ll join you.”
My heart lurched forward , and my pussy clenched. As incredibly turned on as this man was making me, standing outside in an awkward moment waiting for Kayne wasn’t exactly a fun thought. If Onyx was going to join me for anything I wanted it to be for something far more physical than walking through the club to the parking lot.
I didn’t have a choice though. Onyx stood to his feet, threw down a few folded up bills , and walked away from the table without another word. I watched the downright disgust on the women’s face at his actions but I was mesmerized. The closer he got to me the more skewed my clear mind became. He stopped next to me and held my gaze for just a moment before his extending his arm. Motioning for me to lead the way out to the parking lot.
Somehow I managed to put one foot in front of the other , but my body remained hyperaware of exactly where Onyx was the entire way.

I led the way back through the club. I was actually sor t of amazed that I remembered. Especially since the entire time my mind was buzzing with the fact that Onyx was just inches behind me. We received a pleasantly scripted goodbye from the man working the entrance. Neither of us replied to him, and soon we were back outside, making our way towards the parking lot where Kayne’s SUV was clearly visible. He was parked
