their
motion intensified.
    He
was watching her. She knew he was, although her head kept tossing from side to
side as another climax began to build inside her.
    It
felt like he could see right through her—all of what she’d always wanted but
could never admit to. She’d never felt so naked, so completely exposed, but
there was nowhere she could hide.
    Zach
knew her. All of her.
    And
she wanted him to know her that way.
    “Can
you come, baby?” he asked, his body visibly tense as he rode her even harder.
He wasn’t going to last for much longer.
    She
hid her face in his shoulder again as his words pushed her closer to the edge.
“Yeah. Yeah.”
    “Oh,
shit, Missy,” he gasped. “You’re so tight and hot. Nothing has ever felt so
good as you.”
    The
words surprised her so much she arched her neck, bringing her face away from his
shoulder, letting out a loud sobbing sound as she came all around him.
    “There
it is,” he muttered, obviously losing control as her body shook helplessly.
“Good…so good.”
    He
was coming too, before she’d even started to come down. They rocked together in
an eager rush as their bodies took what they needed.
    Then
Zach was resting on top of her, his body hot and relaxed and filled with a rush
of nameless emotion—so strong she could feel it radiating off him.
    He
gave her a few clumsy kisses as she stroked his head and back. Her legs were
still wrapped around him. She wasn’t yet ready to let him go.
    “I
can’t believe we did that,” she murmured, as soon as she was able to speak.
    “It
was so good. Better than anything.”
    Her
chest felt like it might overflow. “Yeah. Yeah, it was.”
    “I
should take care of the condom.”
    “Yeah.”
    Neither
of them moved.
    “Pretty
soon,” Zach said, sounding totally wiped out.
    “Yeah.”
    He
groaned and raised his head, brushing one more kiss against her lips. “If I get
up, you’re not going to disappear, are you?”
    “I
don’t think I can move quite yet.”
    “Good.”
    He
heaved himself up to take care of the condom, and then he pulled his clothes
back together. Missy just lay on the couch in a replete sprawl.
    He
stood gazing down at her for a minute.
    “What?”
she asked at last.
    “You’re
so beautiful.”
    “I
thought I looked like a kid.”
    He
shook his head as he lowered himself beside her and pulled her into his arms.
“Definitely not.”
    She
sighed in pleasure. “Good.”
    “I
am a little disappointed that I didn’t get to see you naked.”
    She
giggled. “Next time, don’t be in such a rush.”
    He
gently pulled her top off over her head and then unclasped her bra. “Why wait
until next time?” he said with a smile.
    His
expression changed as he stared down at her bare breasts. “Shit,” he breathed
at last.
    “That’s
good, isn’t it?”
    “Very
good.” He leaned down to kiss her right breast and then her left—nothing
urgent, just sweet and gentle.
    After
a minute, he raised his head and pulled her against his chest again, holding
her tightly, like she was something special.
     Her
heart was roaring with such excitement that she could barely hear herself
think. She kept telling herself to be reasonable.
    Just
because Zach was attracted to her, wanted to have sex with her, didn’t mean
that they’d be together forever.
    He
slept with women all the time. None of them ever lasted.
    There
was no reason why she would be different. He’d never said anything—or even
implied—that this was the real thing for him.
    It
might be for her, but there was nothing she could do about that.
    She
needed to be mature. And reasonable. And not act like a silly girl with her
very first crush.
    “So
there will be a next time?” she asked, before she could stop herself. Her voice
was slightly muffled by his shirt, since he was still holding her against him.
    “There
better be.”
    “Good.”
    Her
heart was fluttering wildly, but her mind kept screaming to be smart, be smart,
be smart
