occasions.”
    “Okay, I’ve made a few mistakes, but I’m right about this one.”
    “I hope so.”
    “I know so. Now, since we have been abandoned by the wayward ladies, we have a lot of extra work to do today.”
    “You’re such a taskmaster.”
    “You know it, Ivy.”

    * * * *

    Simon had been up all night watching the activity at the house. He fell asleep at some point, because he woke up and saw her leaving her house alone. The two men didn’t seem to be with her.
    “Shit!” He wanted to follow the men but obviously had missed them leave. He decided to follow her and see where she would lead him.
    Since he noticed her walking, he got out of his vehicle and followed at a distance behind her. Within five minutes, she headed into a store called Elemental Magic. He noticed a drugstore across the street and ran in to buy desperately needed cigarettes.
    Beside the drugstore stood a coffee shop, and he could think of no better way to start his day than his two favorite vices. He ran inside, purchased his beloved coffee, and sat outside on the patio facing the magic shop.
    He lit a cigarette, took a deep drag of it, held it briefly inside his chest, and then blew it slowly out of his lungs. He took a sip of his hot coffee next and leaned back in his chair. The perfect way to start a morning. All I need now is to have the woman in my clutches, have my way with her, kill the werewolves, and finally, kill her. Damn, what a perfect day this is turning out to be.
    He decided he would make up some story for not calling the hunters in to handle the job. He didn’t know what yet, but he’d figure something out. He prided himself on being an exceptional liar. They’ll have to make me a hunter, with two dead werewolves and their bitch. My scouting days are over.
    He needed to figure out the best way to take her. As always, he had chloroform in his coat pocket, with a cloth to put over her mouth. However, he needed a way to get her alone. He surmised he stood about a foot taller than her, and his large frame and bulging muscles would be no match for her tiny stature. She’s going to be easy to take. He practically vibrated with excitement.
    An hour had now passed, and he hadn’t seen her leave the store. As I suspected. You do work there. He formulated a plan to run back to his vehicle and park it behind the store. He would then go inside, use the chloroform, and carry her body out the back to his vehicle. It hadn’t been the first time he had done something like this, as he had aided the hunters on many occasions, and he knew it wouldn’t be the last.
    A short time later, Simon entered Elemental Magic and noticed two familiar women in the shop. The redhead he’d followed the night before seemed to be recording information on a clipboard, by a collection of apothecary jars. The other woman, his target, stood behind the front counter, greeting him with a luscious smile. He quickly made an adjustment to his plan. He knew he wouldn’t be able to use the chloroform in the shop with the redhead around, so he had to lure her out to his vehicle in the back. The false story started swarming in his mind.
    “Good morning. Can I help you?”
    Oh, you will be helping me, sweetheart. He noticed her erect nipples showing through her pink T-shirt. He wanted to reach out, grab her large breasts, and tweak her nipples with his tongue. Soon. Be patient. He cleared his throat, his morning-smoker’s cough threatening to erupt. “Hello, my name is Simon. I wondered if you could help me with a few items I have in my vehicle.”
    “Hi Simon, I’m Ivy. What kind of items do you need help with?”
    “Well, that’s what I need you to tell me. I have a dear friend who passed away recently, leaving me her home and contents. She studied the occult, and in one of her rooms, I found jars full of different herbs, some magic spell books, and various other sundries. I want to donate them to your store if they’re items you think you can
