house."
Jed replied, "Of course."
Their luck couldn't last. As they walked out of the basement, ten armed men blocked their way.
Abe Townsend stood in front of his men. He was a big man, going to fat in the middle. His small, squinty eyes held as much humanity as a button on a dress. He punched Jed in the mouth. The blow knocked him to the ground. Abe said, “Bastard. You’ve gotten in my way once too often. Never again.”
Without warning, Abe hit Jenny in the mouth with his closed fist. “I hate women. They’re good for only one thing. I’m going to use you for just that thing. When I’m done with you, I’ll personally shoot you and that asshole in the head.” He pointed to five men. “Tie him up and watch him. When I’m done with the bitch, I’ll be back to get him.”
The men dragged Jed into another room and hog-tied him to the ground. He lay on his belly with his hands tied to his ankles in back. He was truly helpless. If Jenny couldn’t deal with Abe and come back to defeat the five men guarding him, he was done for.
Chapter Eleven
Abe liked ropes. He put a gun to the back of Jenny’s head and ordered her to strip. He tied her, naked, to a big bed. He tied all four limbs; her arms stretched out and up and her legs went down and out.
Jenny ran her mind like a freight train and got nowhere. She looked around the room. It belonged in a brothel. Abe hung paintings of naked women on every red velvet covered wall. The bed was made of wrought iron and must have been expensive.
Abe stood by the side of the bed near her head, still fully clothed. He pointed down to the ten-in long, erect cock that stuck out of his pants. “Suck.”
Jenny tried to get over to the side of the bed. She couldn’t. She strained at the ropes to show Abe she couldn’t reach him.
Abe grunted and picked up his Colt six-shooter. He held it against her head while he untied one hand. He walked around the bed to get to the other side and stood again near her head. She rolled over and took him in her mouth. After one suck, she struck like a diamond-back rattlesnake.
It’s very easy to tell yourself that a gun to a woman’s head will ensure complete compliance. It becomes much, much harder when you’ve told the woman she’s going to die when it’s all over. She has nothing to lose.
Jenny pushed his gun away from her forehead and pulled it next to her neck. She bit down hard on his cock and shook her head like a dog with a prime piece of meat. The pain incapacitated Abe. He couldn’t bring enough brain cells together to pull the trigger until it was too late.
Jenny let go of his cock and his wrist and grabbed the front of his shirt. She hauled him toward her. In seconds, he was off-balance, teetering over the bed and her body. She rolled back toward him as much as she could and let him fall on and over her. He continued rolling and she rolled with him, ending up on top of his chest.
He was still stunned by the pain of his badly mangled cock. She brought the gun around and pressed it against his big, hard chest. With his hand still around the pistol grip and his finger on the trigger, she wiggled her own finger in the trigger guard and shot him right through the heart.
The sound of the shot didn’t get past the sound of the dynamite exploding downstairs. She untied herself and got into her clothes as quick as lightening.
She kept his gun and went half-way down what had been the stairs she came up. The rest of the flight and a half of stairs was gone. She faced a twenty foot drop into the basement below.
The dynamite did away with the printing press but also with the walls and ceiling of the room the press had been in. Jenny could see the scattered pieces of the press littering the basement floor.
She let herself down the last stair and hung by her fingers. She spotted an empty space just a little to one side. A gentle swing and she dropped safely into the basement.
Jed hadn’t been able to move. That worked in his
